Summer Neutrals

As much as I love the all-white trend, it feels good to break it up with a great neutral like army green. This is how I tend to dress day-to-day for work (thank goodness for the fashion-loving people I work for and no dress code) but I might have subbed in a pair of Old Navy flip flops later on in the day. Casual and easy basics like this simple white button down and my favorite white denim shorts prove to be staples during the summer, and I can either wear them together or with anything else. Today I added this military green jacket which I purchased at Zara years ago (it has also proved to be a wardrobe essential) and a great pair of wooden and green wedges with espadrille ankle straps. I love putting chic basics together and coming up with new outfits. Which pieces do you turn to over and over again during summer? I'd love to hear in the comments!
