Spring Things

Moving in early January to a new apartment felt like the kind of quiet reset I didn’t know I needed. There’s something about the start of a new year that invites intention—what you bring with you, what you leave behind, and how you want to live going forward. A new space only amplifies that feeling.

The first few months were less about aesthetics and more about grounding. Unpacking slowly, finding places for things, settling into a new job and rhythm—it all mattered more than rushing to make everything look “done.” I’ve learned that a home reveals itself over time. It’s not something you can force in a weekend.

Now, I’m finally in that in-between phase I love most: where the foundation is set, and the personality starts to emerge. I just ordered new counter stools, and curtains are next. Small changes, but the kind that shift how a space feels in a meaningful way. It’s less about a dramatic transformation and more about layering—adding warmth, softness, and intention piece by piece.

I’m excited to start sharing more of the process, even if it’s not perfect. Actually, especially because it’s not perfect. There’s something much more honest about showing a space as it evolves rather than waiting for a final reveal that, truthfully, doesn’t really exist. Design is never finished. It grows with you, adapts to your life, and reflects where you are in any given moment.

So this is the beginning of that—letting things unfold, sharing along the way, and embracing the beauty of a home that’s still becoming.
