Kitchen Reveal
I’m so excited to finally share my kitchen reveal with you! I feel incredibly lucky to have found an apartment with a kitchen I genuinely liked from the start. It came with a clean, timeless foundation—white backsplash and countertops, paired with neutral cabinets—that reminded me a bit of my old kitchen. The color palette wasn’t exactly “me,” but it definitely had potential.
One of the absolute highlights? The kitchen island. It’s been a total dream, especially for hosting friends and family for dinners and parties. While I didn’t design this kitchen myself, I’ve loved every moment of styling and decorating it to reflect my personality. Personalizing a rental space is so important—it’s what transforms it from just a place to live into a home that feels truly yours.
Adding unique and meaningful touches can completely change the vibe of a space. Whether it’s artwork you love, family photos, or pieces with a story, those details bring warmth and character. Opposite the island, I have beautiful open shelving that immediately caught my eye when I toured the apartment. Built-ins like that are such a bonus—they offer both function and a chance to get creative.
I styled the shelves with a mix of my favorite plates and a blend of decorative and practical items. Some of my most-loved pieces are thrifted finds, a few treasured decor books, and even some of my papa’s artwork. Curating these small but meaningful touches has helped me create a kitchen that not only works for my lifestyle but also tells a bit of my story.
