Postcards from Italy
I am so excited to start sharing more about our Italy trip today! My obsession with Italy began when I was very young, since my mom’s side of our family is all Italian. My grandparents were from Italy, and I loved getting to know them as I grew up. My papa was an incredible gardener and artist, and my nonnie was the most incredible Italian cook. Their home was always enveloped by paintings and vegetables (and citrus trees!) and whatever was cooking in the kitchen smelled good the moment you walked in.
We visited Italy 7 years ago when we graduated from school, and were able to spend a week in the country. We started in Venice, traveled to Cinque Terre, and then ended our time in Florence. It was all so incredible to finally experience it first-hand, and I’ve been dreaming of going back ever since.
This time, I’d accumulated a long list of places to visit on the scenic Amalfi coast, and after seeing it in person, I’m convinced there is no place more beautiful on earth. I’m working on detailed Italy guides to share with you all here, but in the meantime, I wanted to share a couple of “postcard-worthy” moments from our trip!
I cannot wait to share even more, but if you have specific questions or requests, comment below and I’ll be sure to address them in my posts.
