While ever so often I add a pop of color to my wardrobe, I gravitate toward wearing neutrals the most. There’s something relaxed and graceful to dressing in head-to-toe monochrome. It’s like a clean slate - simple, yet chic. And though I favor crisp, cool whites in the summer time, I lean on creamy beiges and ivories to cozy up my fall wardrobe. There’s just something about settling into the simplicity of an outfit that makes it more about the mindset - and less about the clothes themselves.

This knit top and skirt set from Johanna Ortiz oozes luxury. The fringe detail and braided collar add texture and interest to an otherwise clean background. I always love the take that Johanna does on neutrals - texture and charm are never missing. I love the slight nod to 70s silhouettes and western inspired details. This grecian-inspired blouse from Ulla Johnson feels like the ultimate in elegance. I’d pair it with these oatmeal flannel pants from Vince for an outfit that’s equally as sophisticated as it is serene. I’m in love with this beaded silk beige slip dress from Vince for a night out, paired with these unreal ivory boucle mules from Yves Saint Laurent. And its not quite fall without appropriate outerwear - I’d expect this tailored embellished jacket from Veronica Beard and this warm wool coat from Theory to do most of the heavy lifting. Of course, you’re never fully dressed without the proper accessories. Brass hardware handbags lend the perfect pop to an otherwise clean slate, and these ultra-chic brown sunnies are sure to pair with any look.
