I can't believe it's already July! The first half of the year has honestly flown by and time feels like it's just passing by faster and faster. These past 6 months has been increasingly busy but it's the good kind of busy and I'm not taking it for granted. In May we traveled to Maui and had the best time. I started my dream job a few weeks ago so I'm settling into that new routine. We got to spend a weekend home in Austin with our friends. And in a few days, we'll be jet-setting to our next adventure. Life is busy and that's a good thing. Anyway... onto the outfit!
I have always loved that classic Americana kind of style...and what better week to display that than during the most patriotic of all days, the Fourth of July! White denim and gingham have always been summer staples in my book, but now I love that those classic pieces are getting a modern update. I love this gingham top (also it's basically 60% off right now!) and these shorts will be the #1 item on repeat in my closet this summer! I also love the low chunky heel on this slide sandal- they are honestly year round (in Texas, at least). I wore them a lot in the fall with skinny jeans but they also go great with black and white dresses and skirts!
