Over the past few months, I've been swooning over the idea of adding a statement bag to my wardrobe. Until recently, a cross body purse or a large tote were my go-tos, but in my post-grad life the need for a structured statement bag has become painstakingly obvious. Because as cool as any outfit can be, it's the accessories that really pull the look together. Enter: the "it" bag. An amazing (surprise!) gift from my dad, the dreamy PS1 by Proenza Schouler is the perfect statement handbag. It comes in 10 colors, and it comes with a darling shoulder strap (perfect for running around town.)

I've long admired Proenza Schoulder for their sense of refined ease and effortless style. Proenza Schouler won the inaugural CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund award in 2004, establishing the brand as a leader in the fashion industry. They debuted their first line of handbags in 2008, including the PS1. Timeless, chic, and exceptionally well-made, It eventually became their signature handbag!

I've really been loving the idea of monochromatic dressing lately, so I paired this wonderfully warm and cozy tee with the purse to bring out it's beautiful grey-blue tone. I played up the gold detailing on the purse by adding a few delicate gold pieces to the look, including this sparkling geode necklace. (Love.) Paired over my go-to black ankle skinnies and classic black pumps, the purse adds just the right touch of sophistication to the look!
