My Favorite Places to Shop in Dallas for Design Inspiration
There’s no shortage of beautiful places to shop in Dallas, especially if you’re on the hunt for design inspiration. Whether I’m sourcing for a client or simply feeding my creative soul, these are the spots I return to time and time again. From elevated textiles to dreamy floral installations, here are my five favorite destinations when I need a dose of style and beauty.
1. Anyon Atelier
Located in the heart of the Dallas Design District, Anyon is a jewel box of curated design. Their pieces feel both current and timeless—elevated, but never overdone. I love their layered vignettes and the mix of sculptural, one-of-a-kind pieces with refined finishes. It’s a space that reminds me how powerful thoughtful, restrained design can be.
2. Caitlin Wilson
Caitlin’s showroom in Knox is like stepping into a perfectly polished, soft-hued dream. Her signature mix of playful pattern, classic silhouettes, and feminine color palettes never fails to lift my mood. I especially love stopping in to see her latest rug and textile designs—every visit sparks fresh ideas.
3. Blue Print
Housed in a 1920s-era home on Fairmount Street, Blue Print is design heaven. The rooms are styled like a real house, so it’s easy to envision pieces in your own space. Their art collection is always inspiring, and I love their mix of antiques, lighting, and textiles. It’s the kind of place where every corner holds a surprise.
4. Peacock Alley
For anyone who believes bedding can (and should) be luxurious, Peacock Alley is a must. Their linens strike the perfect balance between tailored and indulgent. I often bring clients here when we’re selecting final details for a primary bedroom or guest retreat—it’s the kind of finishing touch that makes a room feel complete.
5. Avant Garden
While not a home store per se, Avant Garden is a constant source of visual inspiration for me. Their floral arrangements are architectural, artistic, and wildly romantic. I love stopping in before an install or photoshoot—nothing finishes a space quite like fresh, thoughtfully composed blooms.
Absolutely—here’s a list of other elevated, design-forward shops in Dallas that offer inspiration similar to Anyon, Caitlin Wilson, Blue Print, Peacock Alley, and Avant Garden. These range from home furnishings to antiques, textiles, lighting, and floral artistry:
