June Moodboard: What’s Inspiring Me This Month

1. Old-World Charm Meets Summer Ease

From the painted Italian armoire to the sun-drenched European terrace, I’m drawn to the nostalgic warmth of the past. There’s a softness and soul in antique details—the curved lines, worn patina, and hand-touched character—that feel grounding and timeless.

2. Intentional Living

Simple pleasures like setting the table outdoors, uncorking a bottle of wine barefoot in the grass, or arranging fresh white hydrangeas in a woven basket are a reminder to slow down and find beauty in routine. These images aren’t just pretty—they reflect a way of life I aspire to. Calm. Present. Savoring.

3. Neutral Layers + Thoughtful Details

Whether it's a curated kitchen shelf or a hallway arch that catches the morning light just right, I’m endlessly inspired by subtle, tonal palettes and soft whites. These hues make a space feel open yet intimate, especially when paired with texture—plaster walls, natural linens, vintage silver.

4. Vintage Tableware & Garden Parties

There’s a quiet joy in collecting: brass serving pieces, shell-shaped dishes, tiny spoons. I’ve been drawn to the idea of mixing the ornate with the organic—elevating simple meals with special pieces. I’m dreaming of summer garden dinners with candlelight, white florals, and easy conversation.

5. Everyday Romance

From tulips by the bedside to the elegance of a glass of white wine in the afternoon, I’m leaning into softness. I love the contrast of tailored silhouettes and relaxed settings, sun hats and shadows, fresh blooms and crisp cotton.

What This Means for Oak Interiors

This inspiration is showing up in my current design work: warm neutrals layered with vintage elements, floral moments, and an emphasis on flow—how a home moves, breathes, and holds you. I’m curating spaces that feel personal, poetic, and timeless.
