Looking Ahead: My Intentions for 2026

Looking Ahead: My Intentions for 2026

Rather than resolutions, I’m thinking about 2026 as a year of deepening—returning to the things that make me feel strong, curious, connected, and creatively alive. These goals aren’t about doing more for the sake of it, but about choosing experiences that add texture and meaning to everyday life. I also want to try taking dance classes again, as well as ballet lessons.

1. Stepping Up My Fitness
Movement has always been a grounding force for me, and in 2026 I want to be more consistent and intentional with it. Pilates four times a week feels like a commitment to strength, posture, and longevity—something that supports both body and mind.

2. Traveling More (New York & Paris)
Travel has a way of resetting perspective, and I’m craving the inspiration that comes from being somewhere new. New York and Paris are at the top of my list—cities rich in creativity, history, and design. I want to wander, observe, and let new environments inform how I see the world and my work.

3. Growing My Design Business
In 2026, I want to continue growing my design business in a way that feels thoughtful and sustainable. That means refining my voice, taking on projects that truly resonate, and building something that reflects my values—intentional, personal, and enduring. Growth, to me, isn’t just about scale, but about depth.

4. Getting More Involved in My Community
I’m feeling called to be more rooted where I am. Volunteering and getting involved locally in Dallas feels important—giving time, energy, and care to the community that surrounds me.
