Monday Inspiration 7.24.23
I love how refreshing the start of a new week can be. Setting aside time to reset, reflect on the past week, and look forward to the next week feels like such a valuable practice these days. After I got back into town late Saturday, I was already looking ahead to having a productive but relaxing Sunday, getting ready for the week ahead. Sundays typically go like this: Sleep slightly later than usual, make coffee and spend an indulgent amount of time sipping it on the couch, an at-home pilates class followed by a walk around the neighborhood with my dog, shower, pick up around the house, grocery store run, then settle into the kitchen and make a big Sunday dinner. After dinner, I’ll usually spend some time working on a blog post and setting intentions for the week before going to bed. I relish my Sunday routine, especially after being out of town. When I make a point of doing these Sunday rituals, I’m ending the previous week feeling calm and grounded, and wake up on Monday ready to tackle whatever’s on deck that week.
