New Home Decor Finds
Now that our renovation projects are done, I’m so excited to really start getting into the “decor” phase of the home! I love to browse through all my favorite home decor sites in an effort to find the perfect pieces for each space, but I’d be lying if I said nothing else caught my eye along the way! Polished, graceful, and classic pieces always draw my attention, because they are versatile and work with so many different spaces.
I really feel like our homes are an extension and an expression of us. The world we surround ourselves in can have a direct impact on our mood, how productive or relaxed we are (or want to be) and create an energy in which we live each day. I think its so important to create a space you love, and even if your home isn’t totally “you”, I think a few simple decor additions can make a big difference in making it feel more unique.
A few new furniture pieces also caught my eye this week - I love this cabinet from Lillian August, and this light blue etagere from Ballard. And for seating options, I love these beautiful dining chairs, this ottoman, and this sectional (the shape is so fun!) For some decor items, I love these candlestick holders (under $20) from X, and I’d pair them with these light blue candles from X. For the kitchen, I love these highball glasses and these old fashioned glasses from Juliska. A few Diptyque items make for a luxurious finishing touch - this candle is one of my favorites, and I love this hand soap too. This gold fringed blue and white pillow (under $100!) will add pattern and personality to any sofa or chair! Coffee table books also make great decor pieces- this new book from Deeda Blair is on my holiday wishlist!
