This year I have realized it’s high time I prioritize picking up a few new pairs of pajamas. My current assortment of leggings and tee shirts have held up for long enough - but I find myself constantly wondering what it would be like to slip into a cute pair of PJs at the end of each night - would I sleep better? Would I wake up feeling more put together and organized? Will my mindset be more rested, more renewed? The power of clothing to send a message has long been documented - but has mainly been applied in the sense of what other people think of you while you’re out and about. I think a lesser spoken-of effect of an outfit is what it causes you think about yourself. My theory is that this chronic night owl will sleep better if I get ready for sleep with as much effort as I put in when I use to head to the office for work. I loved getting dressed and ready for work- it made me feel good about myself. With that opportunity mostly gone, why not apply the same method at night? Will I feel happier going to sleep? And ultimately, will I feel more rested the next day?

All that to say, I know I’m well past due to upgrade my night-time wardrobe to something nicer than sweats, leggings and tee shirts - and what better time than the holidays to make the upgrade? With so many stylish sets on the market, I narrowed down my top six favorites (all blue and white, of course). I am really loving the idea of these chic Kimono style sets from General Sleep, and the feminine details on these Sleeper sets are calling my name. I have been holding out on purchasing a pair of Lake Pajamas, but they recently restocked this striped set I’ve been eyeing and I think it’s a sign to take the plunge! Eberjey’s Giselle pajamas have a cult like following and are know for being classic and comfortable.

Are you team loungewear to bed? Or are you a pajama purist? I’d love to hear!
