Home Decor For Spring

Spring is fast approaching and it’s time to start thinking of key pieces to transition your home into the warmer months ahead. While I’m not quite ready for the crisp cool mornings to go away and there are still plenty of chilly days to come, I like to start blending spring favorites with some cozy fall options into my home.

One way I like to do this is adding brighter throw pillows like this toile pillow, this chartreuse pillow, or this silk seamed pillow to my sofa. Spring inspired pillows can make your living room feel transformed in a pinch, plus they help bridge the gap between airy summer colours and moodier fall tones.

Talking about brighter, let’s talk about some beautiful new lighting for Spring. Like this mustard table lamp, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it!  I also love this grey-blue table lamp and this stunning marble and brass table lamp. Again, it is a great addition to your transitioning home. You can easily swap out a table lamp to add some color and fresh-feeling to your space.

Wall decor is essential for a spring home and so easy to switch out. I was lucky enough to snag this wall art by Studio McGee for Target (under $40) and I can’t wait to display in it my living room. This abstract piece from Paloma Contreras feels fresh and updated and could work well in nearly any space. I love this brass picture frame from the McGee & Co line, it’s a classic decor item that truly works year-round.

New season, new decor? It’s no secret I love decorating with coffee table books, and I’m thinking of adding this one to my collection. For the kitchen, I would love to add a stack of these bowls to our open shelves and this flush mount to our mudroom ceiling.

I fell in love with this desk from McGee & Co’s spring launch the minute I saw it - if I had a home office all to myself, I would have promptly placed an order! I love the warm white finish and aged brass hardware.
