All White

I know that the head-to-toe white outfit was big for winter, but I feel like there is no reason the trend shouldn't continue on for spring! To me, there is nothing chicer in the summertime than an all-white dress, or an all-white outfit. The warmer weather has finally arrived and leaving me feeling light and breezy, and now I just want to dress light and breezy.

I think as a person there are always a few things you just love fashion-wise, because you feel your best, truest self in them. For me, that includes anything embroidered and espadrille wedges. I have no clue where my love for embroidered things comes from (possibly from working at Anthropologie for 3 too many years- they like embroidery too and it's probably not helped my case) or maybe it's just something that comes from within. But when I saw this shirt (and the clutch), I just knew it was one of those pieces I would have and love forever. Versatile enough so that it could be dressed down with skinny jeans and flip flops or dressed up, tucked into a skirt with some heels. It's light and breezy and just feels like me. As for the espadrilles, I have had the same pair of Steve Madden espadrilles for 6(!) years now, and decided it was finally time to replace them since I have now found the most perfect espadrilles ever! The Lena Wedge from Joie is comfortable, lightweight and just plain pretty. The nude leather strap and gold buckle and the perfect neutral additions, but my favorite  detail is the white blanket-stitching on the top of the wedge! So gorgeous, and something I know I will be wearing for years to come.

How do y'all feel about the all-white trend? Are you wearing it this spring? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
