Hello Again

Well hi there. It’s been a minute. First, I want to say a big thank you to those of you who have kept coming back over the last few months despite my lack in posting. It was my intention this year to post more than ever, 5 days a week if possible, and I kept up with that for a while. Obviously these last few months on the blog have been scattered at best. I’ve always admired how other writers acknowledge a break in their creativity and publication of their creativity after a life event with such eloquence, but unfortunately my talent lies a bit more with design than it does writing. I am so disappointed that I haven’t had the energy for something that usually brings me so much joy, that I haven’t (and likely won’t) reach the page view goal I set for myself at the beginning of the year, and that I haven’t been able to connect with you all the way I wished to these last few months of the year.

While it’s not something I quite feel comfortable writing about on the vast wide world of the internet, there has been something going on in my life privately these last few months which has been equal parts consuming and devastating. Maybe one day I’ll share more about what’s been going on, or maybe I won’t. But for now, enjoy some weekend reading links I’ve been enjoying and some good holiday sales. Hopefully I’ll hit publish on a couple more posts this month, but get ready for the New Year, because I’ll be kicking things into high gear around here once again!
