This past weekend marked the official beginning of summer, so this month’s 10 Things is replete with all the necessary ingredients to enjoy the most simple of life’s pleasures. My idea of the dreamiest seaside escape isn’t complete without long beach days, the warmth of the sun on my face and the sand in my toes. I’m never too far away from the ocean to feel the breeze or hear the waves crashing at night. Peaceful days are interrupted only by delightfully satisfying meals with the freshest of ingredients. 2. Summer skincare is of the utmost importance: This Oak Essentials Ritual Oil (the skincare line from Jenni Kayne, who I love for home inspiration as well) is known to sooth and calm inflammation and leave a dewy glow

3. I can only imagine how dreamy it must be to wake up by the sea and enjoy of cup of coffee with this mug in hand

4. I love this artwork by Kayce Hughes, an artist whose work i discovered at our local Serena & Lily store. It reminds me of the waves in the ocean. This piece is titled “Hidden Message”

5. I love this beautiful footed compote dish to serve up everything from ice cream sundaes to peach cobblers

6. This woven tote is perfect for storing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a good summer read while you take a dip in the sea

7. I saw this mirror at Anthropologie this weekend and fell in love with the intricate border and beachy design

8. This recycled glass oil dispenser from Terrain is a stunning design - I love decanting dry goods if i don’t like how the labels look, and this would be so pretty sitting on a kitchen counter

9. I love this plate and bowl from Juliska (same as the stunning coffee mug above). Just imagine how stunning a summer seafood feast would be on these plates!
